I've read all three of the stories in this set, and I can't decide which one I like better. The first one with with Donovan and Maddie was really tricky in that there were so many suspects. It was also empowering and I really liked the way Maddie gained confidence while Donovan healed from the traumas of his past.In Love & Deception, we're introduced to the SATO agents who are assigned to protect national security, or so they think. Nick and Carly face all sorts of confusing directives as they try and figure out who's the good guy and who's behind the scenes pulling the strings. Again, very suspenseful with surprising twists.
In Love & Redemption, we have a sweet and steamy romance budding between Gavin and Shelly, who both believe they're not deserving of love. I love how tough Shelly is and feel for her when I learned her backstory. Gavin might have been a thief, but he certainly stole her heart while again, they are facing mysterious unknown assailants.
Very exciting and an excellent collection.

I could not get enough of Nick and Carlie's story! This one kept me on my toes and wanting more. I love the push and pull between them and how just when you think the you know the direction the story is taking the author puts in another twist! Buy one and two because you will want to keep reading.
To tell you the truth I am re-reading these now since the third book is coming out. Right now I am reading Crime and passion the story of Madeline and Donavan. I'm not going to give anything away about this one either but this author does not let you down. Her characters have such passion and fire. Please don't miss this set. You will not be sorry!
This is a great series. Very intriguing with lots of twists and turn and plenty of suspense. The couples in each book had smokin chemistry. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. Chantel is an amazing writer. Her writing grabs you and doesn't let go. I've read many of her books and not one of them disappointed me. I highly recommend this series and any other books by this author.

Crime & Passion I was very excited to read the second book by this author. The thrilling plot-turns in this book kept me anxious to reach the end of the story. I enjoyed the developing relationship between the main characters and how it naturally flowed through the mystery. I greatly enjoyed this book from the first page all the way to the very last sentence. I look forward to reading her future novels.
Love & Deception I was excited to read the newest book by Chantel Rhondeau. I loved her first two novels, and this one did not disappoint either. I found the story to be engaging with various plot twists. I enjoyed the twists that left me guessing. The mix of suspense and romance was the perfect blend. Books that leave me wanting to know more about the characters are always my favorite. I look forward to the second book in this series because of that!
Love & Redemption I was anxious to read this book after enjoying the first Agents in Love novel. Now, I am anxious to read the third book when it is released. I loved the characters in this novel and how they didn't fit into the molds of many male/female leading roles. It was not about a man saving a woman but about two people who needed each other to find and save themselves. The romance was woven throughout the action in a way that made it impossible to decide which aspect I enjoyed more.
What I enjoy most about this author is her originality and talent as a writer. Her settings are unique and the characters are relatable. They're real people in interesting situations. And thank God, the male heroes are not fire-breathing, alpha male billionaires!
I'd highly recommend buying the set because if you've never read Chantel Rhondeau, once you get a taste of her masterful weaving of a good story, you'll want more. Here's my reviews of what's in store.
Crimes & Passion
One thing I liked about Crimes and Passion was that some of it took place and focused on a dog grooming business, Woofy Cuts. It offered a different setting and changed up from the run of the mill office buildings and police stations.
The cop was the man about town. As a male reader, I enjoyed Donovan. He took some getting used to, but I liked the obstacles and reputation he had to overcome. He had character flaws which I love in a character. Much more interesting to follow than a never sinning alpha male.
The writing is clever. It is romance of the finest quality, but leaves you guessing from one chapter to the next about where their love is heading. The other element is the mystery side of it. Lots of twists and unknowing that keeps the pages flicking into the night to find out 'who dunnit?' You can't ask for more than that.
Love & Deception
The romance of Nick and Carlie is as gripping as the suspense it sits on. SATO agent Nick falls for his 'target', suspected terrorist Carlie Hollis. I enjoyed watching their love blossom. And watch out for the HOT scenes. Sizzling!
There are twists that will keep the reader guessing about who to believe, which makes for an interesting conclusion. There is a great cast of supporting characters which add to the depth of the story.
Love & Redemption
I like a story that gets to the action quickly, and Love and Redemption certainly did that. The first chapter got my heart racing with suspense and anticipation and the author was able to maintain that throughout the book.
One of my favorite parts of the book was how Gavin and Shelley first met. It wasn’t your run-of-the-mill type meeting and it set the entire story up for the fast paced action that followed. In amongst the suspense and action, romance blossoms
Gavin is charming and has wit, but is less than familiar in a fire-breathing role which makes him more likeable as he has a sensitive, caring side. And there was a lot of humor in the scenes when Gavin meets Shelly's dad.
Shelley had a great mix of being a strong character with touches of vulnerability. If it was a movie, which was how I often saw it in my mind as a read it, one would say Shelley was a great actress.
Strong opening, great ending with closure, and everything else you could want in between.
